We hope to develop a reputation as a brand that focuses on ideas, quality, ethical manufacturing and the joy of model building.
Boxkite aims to produce as much as possible within the UK with a focus on local suppliers in an industry often criticised for moving production to India & China.
We also want to actively engage with modelling community, hear your feedback, and give back as much as we can with freebees and research resources.
Our Story
Chris has been working in the model kit industry for 16 years and in that time has developed some best selling kits for several big name manufactures. He developed his craft with these companies and carries this experience into this start up. Here he hopes to make products with a development process that’s much more open and interactive with the model makers.
He loves problem solving design issues and always aims to make the kit assembly process as enjoyable and error free as possible!
